Sophantering

Garbage handling

General

The association’s long-term goal is to reduce the amount of waste. Waste that can be sorted should generally be sorted. Please note that no waste may be placed in the common areas. Waste left in common areas will be removed and the resident responsible will be charged.

Household waste and newspapers

Household waste is disposed of in a locked waste cabinet (unlocked with the entrance key), and newspapers (blue bins) are located at the rear of the building. Please respect that only newspapers may be placed in the blue bin—corrugated cardboard does not count as newspapers.

Bulky waste must not be placed in or next to the bins!

Food waste

We are reviewing different solutions for sorting food waste and hope to have a solution in place during 2023 (or shortly thereafter).

Cardboard, batteries, plastic, glass, and metal

Our nearest recycling station is at the intersection of Infanterigatan/Ängkärrsgatan. There are containers here for recycling, among other things: packaging, corrugated cardboard, plastic, metal packaging, glass, and small batteries.

Bulky waste

Our recycling center is Bromma ÅVC, Linta Gårdsväg 16 instead. Residents of Solna can dispose of bulky waste there free of charge. Certain bulky waste can be dropped off on non-holiday Thursdays at Solnaplan—see the City of Solna website for more information.
